Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary:

The Customer Care Assistant is responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and visitors. The role involves greeting and guiding new patients, providing service-related information, assisting with token distribution, and coordinating with relevant staff during emergencies. The Customer Care Assistant also supports reception operations and helps maintain effective communication within the outdoor service area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Support & Guidance

  • Meet and greet new patients and visitors courteously upon arrival.
  • Advise and guide new patients on how to avail themselves of CRP services effectively.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about CRP services, facilities, and processes.
  • Assist patients in collecting service tokens and ensure they are directed to the appropriate counter or department.
  • Support patients and guardians with queries or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.

2. Information & Communication

  • Work at the information booth to provide necessary information and guidance to patients and visitors.
  • Communicate promptly with the Outdoor In-Charge or Front Desk Officer in case of any emergencies, unusual situations, or service-related issues.
  • Take immediate action to resolve issues with the support and guidance of the Outdoor In-Charge or Front Desk Officer.
  • Coordinate effectively with other receptionists, therapists, and service staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

3. Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Report regularly to the Front Desk Officer regarding attendance, leave, or any other administrative matters.
  • Fill up maintenance forms for any repair or facility-related issues and submit them to the Front Desk Officer for further processing.
  • Maintain a courteous and cooperative attitude with all staff members and departments.

4. Operational Flexibility

  • Work at the outdoor reception desk when required, ensuring professional service delivery.
  • Assist the reception team during peak hours or staff shortages to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or higher authority as required.
