Experience:

• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)

• RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)

• BGP/MPLS Specialist certifications

• MTCINE / MTCRE

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage NOC engineers, Transmission engineers, shift leads, and support staff.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, escalation matrices, and shift structures for smooth 24/7 operations.
• Build a high-performance culture with accountability, training, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with customer support teams to resolve escalations and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to senior management with strategic recommendations.

Network Operations Center (NOC)

• Oversee 24/7 NOC operations, ensuring monitoring of core, distribution, and access networks.
• Ensure uptime, availability, and performance of ISP backbone, data centers, and customer-facing services.
• Implement network monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, NMS, etc.) for proactive issue detection.
• Manage traffic engineering and routing policies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), including peering and transit links.
• Lead incident & problem management – outages, degradations, RCA, and preventive actions.
• Enforce network security standards (firewall, DDoS mitigation, regulatory compliance, audits).
• Collaborate with planning & engineering teams for new deployments (fiber, wireless, IX, CDN caching).
• Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, change logs, and incident history.

Transmission

• Supervise and coordinate the Transmission Team Lead and engineers.
• Oversee fiber backbone, microwave, DWDM, SDH, and other transmission networks.
• Ensure continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and fault management of transmission systems.
• Optimize capacity, redundancy, and resilience across backbone and access transmission links.
• Coordinate with vendors, upstream ISPs, and partners for transmission projects, expansions, and repairs.
• Maintain updated transmission maps, fault history, and maintenance records.
