Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in credit recovery, receivable management, or collection (FMCG, Telecom, or Distribution sector experience preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to manage difficult conversations with customers.

  • Field-level follow-up capability; must be willing to travel across regions as required.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and provide actionable recovery solutions.

  • Fluency in Bengali and working knowledge of English (written and verbal).

  • Should be proactive, assertive, and result-oriented.

  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and legal processes related to recovery will be considered a strong advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of Credit Recovery Executive.

Job Description

  • Recover overdue payments from delinquent customers with the help of sales force to ensure healthy cash flow and reduce bad debts.

  • Conduct in-depth credit assessments including customer background verification, payment behavior, and financial standing.

  • Monitor overdue receivables, defaults, and written-off accounts; escalate issues to management with proper analysis and recommendations.

  • Prepare and implement recovery plans including negotiation, settlement proposals, and legal action coordination when required.

  • Carry out regular field visits to dealers/customers for physical follow-up and assessment, especially in high-risk or overdue cases.

  • Work closely with Marketing, and Sales teams to assess market competition and adjust credit strategies accordingly.

  • Liaise with Legal and Credit Control to support recovery efforts under legal proceedings.

  • Analyze trends in non-payment, assess risk exposure, and prepare monthly risk assessment reports.

  • Ensure all recovery activities are documented accurately shared to supervisor.

  • Participate in internal credit meetings and share customer insights and ground-level updates.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management aligned with business priorities.
