Job Context:
∎ The CPIMS Officer will ensure a functioning child protection information management system is in place and well maintained to contribute to quality data management and control, delivered according to standard of case management. S/he will:
∎ Establish an information management system
∎ Perform data management
∎ Provide training
∎ Coordinate and ensure compliance to SOP and CP information sharing protocol in all cases of sharing the data with other actors, essentially for the protection of children as well as the smooth and effective access to services and direct support activities based on Standard Operation Procedures (SoPs) agreed among case management agencies

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish an information management system adapt to specific situation and agreed requirements for the response program
∎ Implement agreed data protection CP coordination protocols and procedures and ensure all staff and volunteers involved in data collection, entry and management understand them and apply them in their daily work
∎ Ensure continuous internet connection with the IT department
∎ Ensure that all equipment are kept in good working order. Report all problems with equipment to the Senior CPiE Coordinator.
∎ Report all challenges encountered in achieving and maintaining the CPIMS+ to the Senior CPiE Coordinator or Advisor immediately for support.
∎ Liaise with CPSS CPIMS+ admin and establish mutual technical support needed in IMS
∎ Supply case management and FTR relevant stocks and equipment ( forms, camera, paper, laptop, filing cabinet, bags)
∎ Analyze CPIMS+ generated reports and guide case management case by case activities and prioritization, individual case prioritization of the entire data entry and collection team and decisions of management
∎ Coach staff on basis of feedback on data collection and data entry errors/ mistakes in order to improve the data quality
∎ Provide appropriate filing equipment to comply with CP standards on child data storage and security keep stock of children’s data safe and protected in alignment with case management standards
∎ Develop/ disseminate and ensure implementation of the policy on Child data access, Information sharing protocols, and data change authorization
∎ Manage the integration of SOPs, ISP and information flow
∎ Provide regular supervision ad follow up to the data processing group to ensure maximum output and productivity.
∎ Provide planning support to the data processing team to ensure that all work is done according to the agreed upon time frame without compromising on quality.
∎ Review all work-in-progress for the Data clerk and determine a plan of action for the week.
∎ Advise the CPiE coordinators on problems/ challenges being encountered in day to day work that need technical intervention from other departments such as IT or from management
∎ Develop and disseminate contingency plan for data evacuation and ensure original monthly and quarterly backup are stored in another safe location different from the data management office.
∎ Data administrator
∎ Keep all the hard copy of FTR records in the lockable cabinet
∎ Ensure CPIMS database and the computer password regular change, and computer will not be transferred to other staff with CPIMS
∎ Develop a contingency plan for evacuation to protect hard & soft copy of case management data in collaboration with the CPiE Advisor and set it in place and review regularly its appropriateness
∎ Supervise computer database and oversee regular protection measures application
∎ Any information breach regarding child identity, data in relation to Child protection policy, ISP and SOP should be immediately reported to CPiE Advisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should hold a university degree in Information Technology , knowledge management and other related area
∎ A minimum of 2 -3 year experience in data analysis, reporting and Use of IMS
∎ Proficient English communication skills (both oral and written)
∎ Advance knowledge of database entry, MS office
∎ Knowledge of and adherence to the Child Protection, Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct
∎ Strong interpersonal relationship and team building back ground
∎ Excellent analytical, documentation, problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills
∎ Possess the ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive collaboration and relationship.
∎ Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Familiar with Child Protection work
∎ Appropriate communication skill and approachable
∎ Must have no history of violation of children rights
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
∎ Working with computer data and data management
∎ Past exposure to working in FTR CP coordination or case management
∎ Relevant experience in data input supervision
∎ Awareness of children’s rights
∎ Past experience working with interagency Data Protection Protocol, SOP
∎ Past experience working in team and collaboration with partners
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in camp locations in Ukhia
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
