Education:
  • Minimum M.Sc in Psychology/ counseling psychology/ Clinical Psychology from any recognized university /institute. Additional degree/training in the relevant area will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

A. Inpatient Services

  • Assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide appropriate psychological interventions.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups, assess psychological and psychosocial concerns, provide appropriate support, and prepare progress reports.

  • Actively participate in and facilitate Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) interventions, including weekly ward rounds, case conferences, and MDT meetings, by providing psychological consultation and managing referred cases.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients’ psychological interventions and progress.

  • Organize and facilitate health education and psycho-education sessions for individuals with SCI, persons with disabilities, and groups.

  • Provide retention and coping counselling services to vocational trainees.

  • Prepare and submit monthly activity plans and reports to the supervisor.

B. Fieldwork / Work-site Services

  • Provide preparatory counselling to individuals prior to entering new employment.

  • Provide counselling and follow-up support to enhance the retention of CRP-supported stakeholders in the RMG industry.

  • Provide follow-up services through telephone counselling and, where necessary, arrange face-to-face community-based counselling services.

C. Outpatient / Other Activities

  • Provide appropriate counselling services to CRP staff and students as and when required.

  • Support the rehabilitation and medical teams in providing counselling and psychological support to outpatients.

  • Provide outpatient psychological assessment, counselling, and consultation.

  • Conduct in-service training and awareness sessions for coworkers and team members as required.

  • Participate in emergency response activities and support organizational development initiatives as assigned.
