Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
    • Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science
    • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
    • Master of Law (LLM)
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Auditor/lead auditor training in one or more social and environmental compliance standards, including SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Higg FEM, APSCA, BSCI, or equivalent.
  • A University graduate (LLB, MLM, BSc or MSc in Environmental Science, Textile Engineering/technology considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completed auditor/lead auditor training in one or more social and environmental compliance standards, including SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Higg FEM, APSCA, BSCI, or equivalent.
  • Minimum experience of six to eight (6-8) years in similar capacity and industry.
  • Knowledgeable in aspect of Social Compliance, Carbon Footprint and Traceability.
  • Well-versed in standards and initiatives including Fair Wear, amfori BSCI, Textile Exchange (especially OCS and RCS), Better Cotton, RSC, and Oeko-Tex.
  • Extensive experience conducting social compliance and environmental audits within the supply chain.
  • Practical experience in implementing traceability systems and carbon footprint tracking platforms.
  • Involvement in CSR projects and community development initiatives focused on worker well-being.
  • Skilled in facilitating social dialogues between workers and management..ü Capable of delivering training sessions to both workers and factory management on compliance and workplace practices.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments and the implementation of appropriate actions.
  • Familiar with European standards (CSDDD, HREDD, AJEC law etc).ü Good command of English, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Officeü Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship with the factory, worker and other DLO personnelü Hands-on, energetic, problem-solver attitude.
  • Able to work under pressure 


Responsibilities & Context:

Attached to the Sustainability team, the role of CR Manager will be responsible for all kinds of collaborations with other departments (Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, etc.) so that compliance issues can be directed to the appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consultation with top management will be undertaken as needed to resolve complex legal compliance issues.Accountability will be held for the Compliance Program and its related activities to ensure that illegal, unethical, or improper conduct is prevented. The role will act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues and concerns within the organization are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.

Key Result Areas 

  • Knowledgeable with the Country legal requirements, and International laws and regulations to maintain & to check all compliance/noncompliance issues for all factories.
  • Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Sustainability Team, Board an Senior Management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
  • Conducts Initial/Follow up/Audit to develop all factories which are working with the company.
  • Strengthen the company image internally with its suppliers and customers.
  • To develop the suppliers working environment and make them fit to work with us.
  • To reduce noncompliance issues by factory development and help them to achieve good score through audit.
  • Able to do other related tasks assigned by Top Management.

Main interfaces

  • Local: To conduct audits prior to initiating business with new suppliers and provided comprehensive audit evaluation reports to the sustainability, operations, and sourcing teams.
  • Head office: Collaborates with the Sustainability team (Head Office) if any discrepancies observed during audit or need any guideline.
