Job Context:
∎ The person will be required to Manage the retail shop of Bateel which is a luxury food brand from the Middle East. Bateel has evolved from its origins as a pioneer in the gourmet date market to a leader in the international luxury food sector.
∎ Bateel is present in the Middle East, Europe, USA, Australia, India and is now expanding into Bangladesh, brought by Beximco Foods Ltd.Bateel has elevated a revered ancient fruit to gourmet delicacies and created a luxury retail experience that launched an entirely new market, a market for the gourmet dates and date products. As a world-renowned brand in the gourmet date and chocolate industry, Bateel has elevated the etiquette of gift-giving into an art.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Bateel is building a corporate sales team to communicate the benefits of it’s products to drive sales. In particular, we want to promote the concept of high end gifting to Bangladeshi corporates, banks, embassies, clubs and high-end hotels.
∎ We’re looking for talented sales managers with an extensive network of contacts in the Bangladeshi eco-system who can immediately help to drive Bateel brand awareness and generate sales. The incumbent should have hands on experience on the following functions:
∎ Experience in corporate direct sales
∎ Extensive database of contacts in Bangladeshi corporate, specially top level
∎ contacts with decision makers in HR, Admin and Procurement
∎ Knowledge of how to create and execute a sales strategy
∎ Comfort and knowledge of web analytic and reporting platforms preferred.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years retail food shop experience
∎ Fluent in speaking, reading & writing both English & Bangla
∎ Should be well-dressed and well-groomed and attractive in appearance
∎ Should possess good customer service skills, well spoken.
∎ Able to approach customers in a friendly manner and make them comfortable
∎ Hard working and result oriented. Proactive people with dynamic attitude is desirable.
