Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field .

∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
∎ Passion for humanitarian causes and health awareness.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Prior experience in advertising agency or nonprofit content writing is a plus.
∎ Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
∎ Ability to present confidently in front of a camera or live audience.
∎ Proficient in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and content creation tools.
∎ Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support & Lead the creation of high-quality communication content for internal and external use, including reports, storytelling, media communication, and documentation of program processes.
∎ Write clear, concise, and impactful content for various formats, including social media, blogs/articles, press releases, newsletters, financial reports, and the foundation’s website.
∎ Create educational initiatives to raise awareness about thalassemia prevention and blood donation. This involves dispelling myths and highlighting their life-saving importance. Produce well-researched content for online platforms like Facebook and Instagram, as well as in print.
∎ Create donor stories, patient success stories, and awareness-focused articles for marketing materials, including brochures, landing pages, and promotional content.
∎ Collaborate with the design and digital marketing teams to develop effective campaign messaging.
∎ Edit and proofread all content for accuracy, tone, grammar, and consistency.
∎ Assist in developing content calendars and scheduling posts across digital platforms.
∎ Translate key content between Bangla and English as needed.
∎ Stay updated on current health trends, particularly those related to thalassemia and blood donation.
∎ Conduct interviews with patients, donors, and medical staff to gather stories for storytelling purposes.
∎ Capture learnings, collect cases, and document experiences from the field to prepare for learning-sharing and mentoring sessions with volunteers and stakeholders.
∎ Develop a media outreach plan to create opportunities for media visibility, and monitor and evaluate media coverage.
∎ Ensure consistency and integrity of communication across all channels.
∎ Develop brand guidelines, templates, and messaging frameworks to maintain brand identity and reputation.
∎ Ensure all storytelling is culturally sensitive, authentic, and impactful. Conduct interviews and gather first-hand accounts where applicable.
