Responsibilities & Context: Key Job Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to obtain high-quality images of internal body structures. Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities, lesions, tumors, or other medical conditions. Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals. Ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment by performing regular maintenance and quality control checks. Addressing patients’ concerns before, during and after ultrasound examinations. Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with ultrasound imaging. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including ultrasound images, reports, and other relevant documentation. Collaborate with other sonographers, radiologists, and healthcare professionals within the hospital. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and accreditation guidelines specific to ultrasound imaging. Carrying out training on ultrasound equipment for other healthcare professionals To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary. Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in similar role, preferably in Corporate hospitals. Additional Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities. Top-notch patient care skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
