Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop compelling project proposals tailored to donor requirements and LEEDO’s mission.
∎ Conduct thorough research on funding opportunities and align proposals with donor priorities.
∎ Draft concept notes, project proposals, and grant applications in collaboration with program teams.
∎ Coordinate with technical and field staff to gather relevant data, stories, and evidence to strengthen proposals.
∎ Identify and track potential funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, embassies, and CSR programs (both international and local).
∎ Design and implement effective fundraising strategies to diversify LEEDO’s funding base.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with key donors, philanthropic organizations, and corporate partners.
∎ Maintain a database of donor prospects, proposal deadlines, and funding requirements.
∎ Represent LEEDO at forums, conferences, donor meetings, and networking events to promote the organization’s work and explore funding prospects.
∎ Collaborate with communication teams to amplify LEEDO’s impact stories and visibility through targeted campaigns.
∎ Support in donor communication and reporting, ensuring alignment with branding and communication standards.
∎ Establish and nurture partnerships with NGOs, INGOs, government entities, and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate strategic collaboration opportunities with like-minded organizations.
∎ Act as a liaison to maintain transparent, impactful, and sustainable relationships with external partners.
∎ Collaborate with Documentation and M&E teams to collect outcome data and success indicators for donor reporting.
∎ Use evidence and feedback to refine proposals and contribute to program improvement.
∎ Assist in ensuring compliance with donor reporting formats and deadlines.
∎ Proven experience in project proposal writing, grant applications, and fundraising (preferably with NGOs or international organizations).
∎ Strong networking and partnership development skills.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and data analysis (preferred).
∎ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote/hybrid environment.
∎ Knowledge of child rights, social development, or humanitarian sectors will be an added advantage.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ LEEDO is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Consultant to contribute to the expansion and sustainability of its programs. This role will contribute significantly to crafting and compelling project proposals, identifying and securing funding opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and increasing LEEDO’s visibility and impact on a global scale.
