Responsibilities & Context: Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant in Fundraising to join our team at Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). The Consultant will play a crucial role in identifying, securing, and managing funding opportunities from various sources including local, governmental, and international funds. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing guidance to the existing team, conducting situation and context analyses, and leading project proposal writing efforts. The Consultant will ensure alignment of fundraising activities with the mission and objectives of CRP.
Main Responsibilities:
Fundraising Related Activities:
- Conduct comprehensive survey/research to identify potential funding sources including local, governmental, and international funds.
- Stay updated in line with the current trends and changes in the funding landscape.
- Scrutinize donor’s priorities & interests.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the existing fundraising team on fundraising strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative approaches to fundraising activities.
- Conduct situation and context analyses to understand the socio-economic landscape and identify areas of need.
- Assess potential challenges and opportunities for fundraising efforts within the context of CRP's mission and goals.
- Develop mechanism to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential donors.
- Represent CRP’s at CRP’s programs, meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote fundraising initiatives and build partnerships.
- Monitor progress and outcomes of fundraising activities and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on fundraising performance and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Project Related Activities:
- Lead the development of high-quality project proposals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure proposals are aligned with donor requirements, CRP's objectives, and best practices in project design and implementation.
- Develop Project Proposals (DPPs) in accordance with various ministries such as the Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women & Children Affairs, etc., and oversee the submission, follow-up, and implementation of successful projects.
