Responsibilities & Context:
  • 1. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

  • Ensure that all site activities are properly scheduled and aligned with project objectives.

  • 2. Resource Management

  • Manage labor, equipment, and material resources efficiently.

  • Ensure that materials are delivered on time and used appropriately.

  • Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to maintain productivity.

  • 3. Quality Control

  • Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

  • Address any issues or defects in the construction work.

  • 4. Safety Management

  • Ensure that safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed on-site.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate risks.

  • Handle accidents and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • 5. Cost Management

  • Monitor project costs and ensure the project stays within the budget.

  • Approve purchases, manage expenditures, and track financial progress.

  • Handle cost overruns and financial risks.

  • 6. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, and reports.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

  • Ensure that legal and regulatory documentation is completed and maintained.

  • 7. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks in the project and implement measures to mitigate them.

  • Adjust project plans in response to unforeseen challenges or delays.

  • 8. Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and the project team.

  • Address client concerns and keep them informed of project progress.

  • Ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals and deliverables.

  • 9. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

  • Handle on-site issues or disputes, whether technical, logistical, or personnel-related.

  • Make critical decisions that affect the project timeline, budget, and quality.
