Job Context:
∎ The Compliance Officer is responsible for maintain the Groupe Beaumanoir (GB) social and environmental compliance requirements on its factory base (for all suppliers: SBOs, Agents, Direct and importers).
∎ The Compliance Officer is expected to act in a risk management perspective in order to protect Groupe Beaumanoir, and its brands, image & reputation`s.
∎ The Compliance Officer reports to Compliance Manager for Bangladesh/India/Pakistan.
∎ Within this framework, the Compliance Officer will raise an alert and has the responsibility to inform his/her hierarchy, especially in case of Zero Tolerance.
∎ When necessary, the compliance officer is expected to suggest improvements & modification to GB actual process & organization in order to adapt processes to his own country`s specificities
Job Responsibilities:
∎ GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
∎ Keep the legal and ethical integrity of Groupe Beaumanoir intact through policy enforcement.
∎ Makes sure all the Groupe Beaumanoir suppliers, factories & partners are complying with the rules and regulations properly.
∎ Visit/Audit new factories for qualification/authorization before the beginning of production using GB Factory Checklist or GB internal audit methodology.
∎ Regularly visit / audit active factories (announced, semi announced or unannounced) to check level of compliance, working on the corrective action plan and training factory staff.
∎ To prepare CAPs against Audit reports, review CAPs with Compliance Manager and share with concerned parties.
∎ Report to the Compliance Manager regarding entire activities weekly & monthly basis, & whenever necessary.
∎ Make sure that the Factory Check List is relevant to his country & suggest improvements if necessary, make sure that the GB teams & direct suppliers teams have good understanding of FCL objectives & requirements (organize trainings on the field).
∎ Maintaining the database on regular basis
∎ Amfori / ICS:
∎ Manage BSCI / ICS commitment for our suppliers.
∎ Analyze audit results.
∎ Support suppliers & factories in the implementation of CAP when necessary.
∎ Follow the progress & implementation of CAP and review with Compliance Manager time to time.
∎ Manage factories training program through FTA Academy
∎ ENVIRONMENT:
∎ Ensure that 100% of wet process factories have acceptable process for water discharge
∎ Ensure environmental data collect, especially through BEPI platform.
∎ Work on all exiting GB tools to adopt them to our environmental strategy (internal audit, factory profile)
∎ Train other team member and our factories to improve their resources efficiency.
∎ Work with factories to implement CAP and follow-up.
∎ Ensure positive evaluation of KPIs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position is highly appreciated
∎ Knowledge of BSCI, SA8000, environmental and social and fire safety auditing
∎ Knowledge of textile industry is highly appreciated
∎ Ability to write reports in understandable English
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Computer abilities (Word, Excel, Power Point...)
∎ Integrity, open-minded vision, impartiality, Independence, good team player and high motivation are the qualities we are looking for.
∎ Driving license
