Experience:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in supervising and technical position in nutrition Program at Refugee Camps.
Working experience with ACF / Refugee camp will be benefit.
Strong understanding and field level experience of Refugee camps and recommended implementation guideline.
Proven experience in team management, supervision, reporting, etc)
Objective 1: Supervise and mobilize outreach activities to deliver a high-quality, comprehensive maternal, child, and adolescent nutrition service package through Integrated Nutrition Facilities in the camp and active community engagement activities
Mobilize the Community Outreach teams to engage the target community, ensuring that early detection and referral are well functional.
Lead the implementation of effective Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) activities, including screening, identification, referral, and follow-up of acutely malnourished children.
Develop and implement a community nutrition mobilization plan, ensuring that it is delivered in a timely and effective manner to improve the nutritional status of project participants.
Oversee the quarterly listing of all households in the targeted area, including pregnant and lactating women, children under five, and adolescent girls.
Liaise with stakeholders in the sector to identify local resources for referrals, ensuring collaboration and complementarity of services.
Ensure the effective implementation of cooking demonstrations, adolescent sessions, and stakeholder sensitization meetings at the community level.
Ensure the timely and effective execution of mass screening, Vitamin A supplementation, and IFA supplementation activities.
Objective 2:Capacity Building and Training of Volunteers to ensure high-quality and timely service delivery at integrated nutrition facility.
Ensure that volunteers are adequately trained on screening, identifying, and referring children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), and at-risk children.
Monitor and support volunteers in conducting home visits, screening, referrals, and follow-up services to ensure that the community is being effectively reached.
Ensure that community nutrition volunteers’ work plans are developed in collaboration with the team and implemented regularly to meet program goals.
Facilitate the development and implementation of mother-to-mother support groups and community dialogue sessions, promoting Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices.
Provide regular feedback to the community to ensure optimal participation and involvement in the program, including promoting community-based nutrition education.
Objective 3: Stakeholder Collaboration and Community Engagement
Build rapport with community members, creating a safe and open space for beneficiaries to seek help and express their concerns.
Coordinate with other stakeholders operating within the same target area, ensuring the alignment of services and effective referrals.
Liaise with health partners for effective referral of malnourished children to Primary Health Centers (PHC) and stabilization centers when necessary.
Facilitate community dialogue and engagement sessions to ensure community-driven participation in nutrition services.
Actively contribute to fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment within the team, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
Objective 4:Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity report.
Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
Ensure the incorporation of PSEA and gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
