Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC
∎ Bachelor degree in social science/economics/development studies or relevant field from reputed public or private universities is preferable
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilization of the community to motivate the ultra-poor youths to come to the training centre.
∎ Regular field visit in project area to make people aware about the Muslim Aid-UK’s Skill Development Program.
∎ To implement promotional and marketing activities at the community level to reinforce the trainee collection process in different training trades.
∎ To ensure the trainees’ attendance, retention and ensuring graduation.
∎ To ensure effective trainee selection in different trades to avoid dropouts.
∎ Assist Muslim Aid-UK training centres to ensure smooth operation of the project.
∎ To ensure project implementation according to work plan or assigned task from line manager.
∎ Prepare work plans schedules and reports for all activities.
∎ Coordinate with Instructors, Job Placement Officer, In-Charge/Principal for smooth and effective implementation of skills development under IsDB project.
∎ Support organizing different events at training centre such as Job fair and skills development training, BTEB (Bangladesh Technical Education Board) Assessment.
∎ Support Job Placement Officer in placing jobs for the graduated trainees.
∎ Notify the In-Charge/Principal about anticipated delays or any project related community concerns.
∎ Assist in operations management; transportation, security, internal communications, planning checking land ownership/property documentation of selected beneficiaries or selected sites.
∎ Collect data and fill assessment forms according to the guideline.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies)
∎ Share information on successes and challenges with team.
∎ Be very cautious about the safeguarding policy while selecting the beneficiaries.
∎ Carrying out any other responsibilities given by the line managers or higher management.
∎ To ensure all records are maintained and stored appropriately in line with MA document management and IT policies.
∎ To comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have experience to visit and deal with different community and people.
∎ Must have experience to identify community priorities, resources, needs and solutions.
∎ IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use any software adopted by Muslim Aid.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
∎ Good team work skills with the ability to work with different and sometime conflicting agendas.
∎ Good organization, coordination and project management skills.
∎ Ability to understand the culture of people in target locations of project intervention.
∎ Willingness and ability to travel different community locations at short notice.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
∎ Ability to work in and with a diverse team.
∎ Ability to prepare field visit reports and to do documentation works as per the management.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
∎ Ability to read and write in local language (Bangla).
Salary: Tk. 18000 - 20000 (Monthly)
