Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Solar power installation, Maintenance, and Renewable Energy related program implementation and related training conduction
∎ The Community Mobilization Officer will play a crucial role in mobilizing and engaging local communities to enhance climate resilience and promote sustainable infrastructure development.
∎ S/he primary responsibility will be to facilitate community participation, build strong partnerships, and empower local stakeholders to contribute actively to the project's objectives.
∎ S/he will establish strong relationships with local communities, including community leaders, representatives, and key stakeholders, to foster active engagement and ensure their involvement in project activities.
∎ S/he will develop and implement community awareness programs to enhance understanding of climate change impacts, sustainable infrastructure practices, and resilience-building measures among community members.
∎ S/he will facilitate participatory planning processes, including community consultations, workshops, and meetings, to gather input, identify community needs, and ensure local perspectives are incorporated into project planning and implementation.
∎ S/he will organize and conduct capacity-building initiatives for community members, local organizations, and relevant stakeholders to enhance their knowledge and skills in climate resilience, infrastructure development, and project management.
∎ S/he will collaborate with local government authorities, NGOs, community-based organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to promote coordination, cooperation, and knowledge sharing for effective project implementation.
∎ S/he will assist in monitoring project activities, gather data, and contribute to project reporting, ensuring compliance with project goals, timelines, and performance indicators.
∎ S/he will maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and document best practices, success stories, and lessons learned for sharing with project stakeholders.
