Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with 1-year internship having valid registration from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC)
∎ Clinical knowledge in Medicine, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Pediatrics at the Primary Health Care curative & preventive level as well as Emergency Preparedness and Response will get preference.

Job Context:
∎ JOB LOCATION: Medical Center, Bhashantek Slum, and Branch Office, Bhashantek, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka-1206, Bangladesh.
∎ Reporting To: Medical Advisor and Program Manager
∎ Coordination & Collaboration With: Branch Manager and Senior Fin-Admin Officer
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides medical consultation at medical center to members of organization.
∎ Implements medical consultation in Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to the members.
∎ Provides helpline consultation, on a roaster basis, to the members.
∎ Follows organization medical guidelines, that are based on national and international guidelines, provides adapted prescriptions and referrals, and has an expected societal behavior.
∎ Communicates and coordinates with health services providers like clinics, Maternity centers, Diagnostic centers, hospitals, and medical institutions as per need.
∎ Reports daily to the medical advisor.
∎ Ensures the improvement of care for Communicable and Non-Communicable diseases, Family Planning, Nutritional screening, and Psychological First Aid with prevention.
∎ Participates in organization medical board meetings to analyze activities and results and to monitor key performance indicators.
∎ Participates in relevant health meetings to better analyze health needs and to contribute to the development of prevention actions.
∎ Assures appropriate translation for delegates or other colleagues during field trips and meetings and ensures relevant translation of documents and texts, as necessary.
∎ Any other job assigned by the supervisor or the authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the Public Health, Primary Health Care department would be an advantage.
∎ Males doctor will get preference.
∎ Proven ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations in a sensitive and creative manner.
∎ Proven ability to work independently and working together with other colleagues.
∎ Empathy and compassion with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles.
∎ Computer literacy is preferred
∎ Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Bengali
∎ Willing to perform field works
∎ Very good interpersonal and communication skills, good conflict management skills
∎ Proactivity

∎ Computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
∎ Strong motivation to work in the development field and NGO
∎ Flexibility
Salary:
∎ Tk. 28000 - 33000 (Monthly)
∎ BDT between 28,000 to 33,000 per month (payment for helpline consultation included)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly Two holidays, 2 festive bonus, gratuity, mobile allowance, and as per organization policy
