Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters' degree in English or Journalism/ Media or in relevant subject having exposure in Journalism/ Media
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure timely and effectively execution of communication activities under the health programme to meet the internal and external requirements
∎ Analyse the understanding of specific target audiences and identify improved and innovative tools and techniques to effectively deliver the advocacy messages across the consortium
∎ Produce branding and wide visibility of materials and ensure strong profile in the field
∎ Lead and support in responding to media queries-providing accurate information, drafting press briefing, arranging interviews and facilitate media visits to field
∎ Document visual evidence of field interventions through photographs/video and closely work with 'Programme Implementation Unit (PIU)" to produce high-quality audio-visual products
∎ Support consortium staff to arrange spectacular events for programme and organisational purposes
∎ Establish productive relations/communication with key stakeholders (Govt. ministries/departments, INGOs) and private sectors etc.
∎ Do regular orientation for the programme and partner's staffs and transfer basic skills and knowledge to enable them developing and picking cases at ground and contribute to central communication system.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least eight (08) years professional experience in writing and editing in the field of development communications, journalism or public relations, with a non-government organization (preferably that carries out Health focused programmes). Among which two (02) years should be in leadership and Strategic communication Development.
∎ Proven experience of developing a wide range of communications materials for both online and offline media, ensuring visibility and effective brand management at all times.
∎ Excellent writing and editing in English and Bangla, with strong computer literacy.
∎ Good understanding of development sector and issues in Bangladesh.
∎ Ability to work in very organized manner with high level skill in planning, interpersonal communication, Presentation and coordination.
∎ Technically competent in internal communication, media engagement, event management, social media, and public campaigns
∎ Good access to print and electronic media.
Salary:
∎ Gross Annual Salary range (inclusive of Festival Bonus, Gratuity and Provident Fund): BDT 1,217,424.00 -BDT 1,798,467.00

∎ Medical Coverage (Inpatient and Outpatient), Group Life Insurance Coverage and Mobile Ceiling as per organisational policy
