Previous experience as a cashier (preferably in commissary/retail)
Basic computer and POS system knowledge
Honest, disciplined, and reliableAbility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, logistics software, and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Operate cash register accurately and handle cash, card, and member transactions
- Process sales strictly according to commissary rules and regulations
- Verify member cards and ensure proper billing
- Issue receipts and maintain daily sales records
- Ensure accurate recording of items, especially controlled products
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier counter
- Assist customers with inquiries in a polite and professional manner
- Report any irregularities to the supervisor immediately
