∎ Diploma in Hotel Management in Cooking

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Skills
∎ • Demonstrate good knife skills
∎ • Show interest and knowledge of flavor and food products
∎ • Show good practice in working hygienically around food with attention to detail
∎ • Possess basic math skills
∎ • Experience working within a high volume fast food establishment as Line/ Commis Chef or Cook
∎ Responsibility
∎ • Must be proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food preparation, hygiene, and safety, food handling procedures, and following written instructions
∎ • Must be able to read and understand in English and Bengali
∎ • Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
∎ • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
∎ • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
∎ • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
∎ • Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills
∎ • Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
∎ • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
∎ • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Head Chef, Sous Chef or Floor Manager at any time
∎ • To appropriately delegate and assist in all tasks delegated within the section
∎ • To accurately and calmly give instructions to junior staff during service and assist if necessary in the completion of the instructions
∎ • Ability to work in a team environment
∎ • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
∎ • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
∎ • Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kg

∎ Age 21 to 35 years
