Experience:
Strong knowledge of international trade procedures, Incoterms, L/C operations, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bangla.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Good understanding of Bangladesh customs procedures, VAT, tax, and Bank regulations relating to imports.
Manage end-to-end import and logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
Prepare, review, and process commercial documents including Proforma Invoice (PI), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (COO), Insurance, and other shipping documents.
Handle Letter of Credit (L/C), TT payments, import permits, customs documentation, and related banking formalities.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, C&F agents, banks, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor shipment status, customs clearance, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time execution.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, VAT, tax, and company policies.
Maintain accurate commercial and logistics records and prepare reports for management.
Support procurement, tender, and project teams by ensuring smooth commercial and logistics operations.
Resolve shipment discrepancies and logistics-related issues efficiently.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
