Position: Sr. Jetty/Custom Sarker & Assistant Jetty/Custom Sarkar
Department: Shipping
Responsibilities:
Custom Sarkar
Verify and process import/export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, LC, IGM, etc.).
Prepare and submit Bills of Entry through the ASYCUDA system.
Follow up customs assessment, duty payment, and cargo release.
Classify products under the correct HS Code and CPC.
Coordinate with Customs, Port Authority, BSTI, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other regulatory bodies.
Prepare import schedules, delivery statements, and customs-related reports.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Customs laws and company policies.
Perform any additional customs and commercial tasks assigned by management.
Jetty Sarkar
Coordinate import cargo delivery from Port, Off-Dock, and On-Chassis/Direct Delivery facilities.
Collect Delivery Orders (DO), NOC, Shipping Orders, Bank Guarantees, and other required documents from shipping agents and relevant authorities.
Prepare and process jetty delivery documents, customs permissions, and port-related documentation.
Liaise with Customs, Port Authority, shipping agents, freight forwarders, banks, and transporters to ensure timely cargo release.
Monitor vessel berthing, cargo status, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Assist in import and export documentation, including FOC, bonded, commercial, industrial, machinery, project, and break-bulk cargo.
Calculate and monitor port, shipping, and demurrage charges where applicable.
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with company policies and Bangladesh Customs procedures.
Perform any additional port operations and C&F-related duties assigned by management.

· Education: Minimum HSC in any discipline.
· Experience: Minimum 03 years hands on experience.
