∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for color quality by checking the shade, color, fastness.
∎ Able to formulate color recipe by him/herself & monitoring color quality prior to allocate for bulk production.
∎ Responsible for the shade and physical quality of the sweater & knit fabrics.
∎ To provide technical guidance to the all kinds of fabrics color suppliers based on buyers requirements.
∎ Coordinate with buyers to educate and implement the shade band/1st batch procedure to makers and laundries to set preview and scan through submits to ensure matching requirement before submits for approval.
∎ Support communications and facilitate of issues resolution during bulk production with merchandising and quality management.
∎ Close Monitoring in testing laboratory and ensuring all kinds of testing procedure
∎ Manage and maintain color system and lab equipment to ensure lab & color system operation properly to deliver lab work within agreed lead time and matching tolerance
∎ Endeavour efficiency improvement such as matching attempt, lab to bulk reproducibility, lab machine utilization through careful review, analysis, motivating the down line people and taking appropriate action.
∎ Train down level people and allocate trained resources in order to effectively manage laboratory work load and to ensure all samples are produced within shade tolerance and service lead time.
∎ Liaise with dye house people to improve recipes in order to improve bulk and color quality.
∎ Monitor suppliers to bulk reproducibility and work with bulk dye house team to maximize sustainable lab to bulk reproducibility.
∎ Liaise with sales team and provide feedback relating to queries of DTM requirements.
∎ Ensure all laboratory operations fully comply with SOPs.
∎ Maintain good house keeping
