Responsibilities & Context:
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for preparing and managing CNC programs for CNC laser cutting operations using the SENFENG CNC Laser Cutting Machine (Model: SF3015G). The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, creating and modifying CNC programs, and supporting production operations.
This position allows remote work for programming and design-related tasks. Coordination with the on-site production and machine operators will be done online. Occasional on-site support may be required when necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare CNC programs for laser cutting using CAD/CAM software
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for the SENFENG SF3015G laser cutting machine
- Use Mastercam for CNC programming and toolpath generation
- Prepare and edit technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, DXF files, and technical specifications
- Optimize cutting paths to minimize material waste and improve cutting efficiency
- Coordinate remotely with on-site operators and production staff
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of CNC programs
- Maintain digital records of CNC programs, drawings, and production files
