Job Location: CRP-Savar & CRP-Rabia Noor Mental Health Day Centre

Key Responsibilities

Mental Health Project Support

  • Conduct psychological and mental health assessments of patients, identify psychosocial problems, and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Carry out evaluations of patients’ mental health conditions, establish diagnoses, and formulate appropriate therapeutic interventions.

  • Implement treatment procedures and monitor patient progress through regular follow-up and documentation.

  • Prepare and maintain patients’ progress notes, treatment evaluations, discharge summaries, and other relevant clinical records.

  • Provide psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, and group) according to standard protocols and professional guidelines.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation plans for mental health patients.

  • Attend interdisciplinary case meetings to review ongoing treatment plans and patient progress.

  • Maintain liaison and professional communication with local and international mental health professionals and relevant stakeholders to improve service delivery.

  • Inform supervisors and the medical/rehabilitation team regarding any patient-related concerns or treatment issues to ensure appropriate interventions and solutions.

  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all patient information and records in compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.

  • Collect, compile, and maintain statistical and monitoring data related to mental health activities and project outcomes.

  • Assist in training staff members, caregivers, students, volunteers, and other resource persons to strengthen mental health awareness and service delivery capacity.

  • Undertake all initiatives and activities related to the Mental Health Project as assigned.

  • Assist in administrative and documentation activities when required.

  • Attend team meetings, coordination meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, and other organizational meetings as required.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.

Outpatient and Other Activities

  • Provide counseling and psychosocial support services for staff members and students whenever necessary.

  • Support the rehabilitation and medical teams in providing counseling services to outpatients.

  • Conduct outpatient psychological consultations and therapy sessions.

  • Provide in-service training and orientation sessions for coworkers and multidisciplinary team members.

  • Participate in emergency response activities and organizational development initiatives related to mental health and psychosocial support services.
