• Previous experience in the same position for at least one (1) year is essential. Anyone with lesser experience might be considered if has NGO/ INGO experience.

• Bangla and local language is essential.

• Ability to communicate in basic English (reading, understanding, and speaking) is highly desirable.

Job Context: Execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tiding up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition.

This position will be based in Ukhiya (Cox’s Bazar).

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and dust surfaces, including furniture.

• Remove trash from cans and replace the poly bags.

• Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.

• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipments as demonstrated by the Watsan team. Follow the rules for using the cleaning tools and chemicals safely.

• Report any maintenance or safety issue to the supervisor immediately.

• Work together in collaboration with other cleaners and other departments.

• Keep track of the cleaning supplies and inform supervisor if there is any shortage.

• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Salary is not negotiable.Income tax deduction at source will be applicable based on the current income tax rule.
