Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences/Social Welfare/ LLB/ Development Studies / Psychology and/or any other related subject.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Department/Unit: Program
∎ Job Location & Conditions: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar Field Office. Required 90% frequent field visit and 10% at Program Office
∎ Report to: Child Protection Officer
∎ Tenure of Services Contract: Initially 1 year (may be extended based on Fund availability and satisfactory performance)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct and facilitate trainings, formation of community-based child protection committees and provide inputs in IEC development;
∎ Develop and maintain good relations with village child protection unit members, learning facility teachers/workers, caregivers and youth groups;
∎ Organize community meetings and provide the necessary technical support according to the standard and requirement of the project;
∎ Work with village committees to develop and implement project plans, monitor activities and maintain projects;
∎ Ensure that all required documentation from field work is prepared professionally and properly filed;
∎ Establish and maintain a comprehensive filing system for the trainings/workshops conducted including project documents, monitoring notes and photos.
∎ Collect data from the field, prepare summarized reports and submit to the Child Protection Officer for consolidation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of experience in child protection and as a community educator is desirable.
∎ Ability to work independently and a team player.
∎ Well-developed communication skills and able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders as a representative of Educo-ChildFund.
∎ Position requires language skills in English.
∎ Knowledge about local dialect of Cox's Bazar is mandatory.
∎ Very good communication skills in Bangla and English both verbally and in written.
∎ The candidate should have good knowledge on Child rights, child protection and education.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated Monthly Salary will be BDT. 46,000 (Forty-Six Thousand). Salary is negotiable based on Competency, Experience and Salary history.
