Position Summary: IBSOR is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to lead its scientific and translational research strategy in the field of biosciences, oncology, stem cell biology, and regenerative medicine. The CSO will oversee all scientific operations, spearhead advanced therapy development, and ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation in translational oncology, cell and gene therapy, and molecular diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the scientific vision and roadmap in alignment with IBSOR’s mission and business goals.
• Provide executive leadership across research programs including oncology, molecular biology, regenerative medicine, and cell therapy.

Research & Development Oversight

• Lead R&D projects focused on stem cell-based therapies, gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9), and tissue engineering.
• Oversee the design and implementation of clinical-grade manufacturing protocols (cGMP) for cell therapies.

Infrastructure Development

• Guide the setup and operation of advanced labs including cleanrooms and diagnostic platforms.
• Support establishment of companion diagnostics and molecular biology labs to support personalized cancer treatment.

Scientific Team Management

• Mentor and supervise multidisciplinary research teams, including PhD scientists, postdocs, and clinicians.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence.
• Build partnerships with academic institutions, biotech startups, and clinical centers locally and internationally.

Scientific Communication

• Represent IBSOR in scientific forums, conferences, and publications.
• Translate complex scientific findings into actionable strategies for business stakeholders and investors.
