Responsibilities & Context:

• Lead and manage all financial functions of the Bangladesh branch, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and financial reporting in Chinese.

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate financial statements, management reports, and other financial documentation to the Head Office in China in a timely manner.

• Ensure that financial records, reports, and supporting documents are maintained in accordance with company policies and relevant accounting standards for China.

• Handle and interpret financial documents, contracts, and correspondence written in Chinese; translate and explain financial information where necessary.

• Maintain regular communication with the Head Office in China regarding financial performance, cash flow, budgeting, and compliance matters in Chinese.

• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in Bangladesh, including tax, VAT, customs, and statutory reporting requirements.

• Liaise with external auditors both in Chinese and Bangladesh, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

• Develop and implement financial controls, risk management frameworks, and internal audit processes to safeguard company assets.

• Oversee cash flow management, banking operations, and foreign exchange transactions.

• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support business growth and operational decision-making.

• Supervise and mentor the finance and accounts team to ensure efficiency and professional development.
