Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years experience in Lead Acid Battery Manufacturing Industry

• Must have practical experience in Easy Bike & Motorcycle Battery production

• Strong knowledge of electrolyte, sulfuric acid and battery chemical process required

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Lead Acid Battery chemical process

• Skilled in electrolyte preparation and acid density testing

• Experience in Lead Oxide and paste mixing process

• Knowledge of battery formation and charging process

• Skilled in laboratory testing and chemical analysis

• Understanding of industrial chemical safety procedures

• Ability to solve production and chemical process problems

• Good reporting and communication skills

• Hardworking, responsible and production-oriented mindset

• Ability to work under pressure in manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of production planning and process optimization will be an advantage

Job Context :

SKF Sourcing Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer for its Lead Acid Battery Manufacturing Plant. The candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring the complete chemical production process of Easy Bike & Motorcycle Batteries, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, laboratory compliance, and industrial chemical safety standards. The position requires hands-on industrial experience in battery chemical processing, electrolyte management, formation process, and production troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise chemical process of Lead Acid Battery production

• Monitor electrolyte preparation and acid gravity control

• Control Lead Oxide, paste mixing and battery formation process

• Ensure proper chemical quality during production

• Conduct chemical testing and laboratory analysis

• Monitor production chemical parameters and process efficiency

• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and lead materials

• Coordinate with Production and Quality Control departments

• Prepare chemical and production reports

• Maintain industrial chemical safety and compliance standards

• Monitor battery charging, formation and finishing process

• Analyze production defects and implement corrective actions

• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials and chemical consumption

• Maintain SOP, ISO and factory compliance requirements

• Support continuous process improvement and production development activities
