Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
∎ Support chefs in the cooking and assembly of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
∎ Receive and store food deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness.
∎ Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely execution of food orders.
∎ Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to the chef.
∎ Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
∎ Uphold high standards of cleanliness and order in the kitchen environment.Skills:
∎ Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
∎ Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
∎ Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
∎ Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
∎ Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.
∎ Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
∎ Team collaboration and the ability to take direction from chefs.
∎ We are opening a New Thai Restaurant in Dhaka fully owned by Thai National with it’s Ambience, Attentive Service and delectable dishes. It offers a taste of authentic Thai Flavors in the Heart of Dhaka.
∎ We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef Assistant to support our culinary team in creating delicious and memorable dining experiences. As a Chef Assistant, you will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff, playing a vital role in food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the culinary arts, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of our kitchen.
