Responsibilities & Context:

We are opening a New Thai Restaurant in Dhaka fully owned by Thai National with it’s Ambience, Attentive Service and delectable dishes. It offers a taste of authentic Thai Flavors in the Heart of Dhaka.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Chef to support our culinary team in creating delicious and memorable dining experiences. As a Line Chef, you will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff, playing a vital role in food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the culinary arts, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.

  • Support chefs in the cooking and assembly of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.

  • Receive and store food deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely execution of food orders.

  • Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to the chef.

  • Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and order in the kitchen environment.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

  • Team collaboration and the ability to take direction from chefs.
