Responsibilities & Context:

Sukhumvit, a premium Thai-owned banquet hall and convention Center located in Gulshan, Dhaka, is seeking an experienced, result-oriented Banquet Hall / Convention Center Manager to lead operations, sales, and marketing in line with international 5-star hospitality standards.

 Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banquet hall or convention Center management.

  • Mandatory experience in 5-star hotels or international-standard hospitality establishments.

  • Strong expertise in banquet operations, event planning, and guest service excellence.

  • Proven marketing and sales capability, including corporate events, weddings, social functions, and conferences.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and vendors.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Sound knowledge of budgeting, revenue management, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of banquet hall and convention center operations

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue

  • Ensure superior guest experience aligned with 5-star service standards

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee high-profile events and conventions

  • Lead, train, and manage operational and sales teams

  • Build long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business
