Responsibilities & Context:
- Lead the board in setting the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Ensure effective communication between the board and management.
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of the CEO/Managing Director.
- Ensure board meetings are productive, well-structured, and focused on key issues.
- Maintain ethical governance standards and compliance with legal requirements.
- Represent the organization in major events, public forums, and with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts within the board.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure transparency in reporting.
- Support succession planning and leadership development.
