Experience:

BSc in Industrial Engineering / IPE / Textile Technology or BBA/MBA from reputed Institutions/ universities.

• At least 8 years

• Good knowledge to operate Planning Software- Fast React / Proactive / Live React.

• Minimum 8 years experience in IE & Planning department.

• Proven expertise in production planning and industrial engineering, particularly in the garment manufacturing sector.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.

• Solid analytical capabilities with a focus on driving operational improvements.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work cross-functionally with various departments.

Production Planning & Scheduling:-    

• Develop and implement TNA based sewing production schedules, leveraging state-of-the-art RMG planning software in conjunction with the company`s ERP system.     

• Implement production plans for all plants, ensuring that timelines, output targets, and deadlines are met. Balance workloads across plants based on capacity, machinery availability, and skill sets of workers.

• Monitor adherence to the plan, resolve bottlenecks, and reassign work to other plants if needed.

• Continuously evaluate production processes across plants to ensure efficiency and all qualitative aspects.

• Use data analysis to optimize production schedules, measure to reduce downtime, and minimize costs.

Communication Between Plants & Departments:-    

• The Central Planner’s role is crucial in ensuring seamless coordination across plants, efficient resource use, and timely production, while also addressing any operational challenges that arise.

• Enabling communication and coordination between different production sites to ensure a smooth workflow and alignment with overall production goals.

• Build effective communication between and among the departments of fabric, merchandising, production and quality to facilitate execution of the production plan.

• Coordinate with supply chain department for timely ordering and replenishment of materials on the basis of inventory.

KPI Tracking:-    

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and inventory turnover.

Problem-Solving and Process Improvement:-

• Identify and solve planning issues such as material shortages, machine breakdowns, or labor issues.

• Continuously work on improving the planning process to reduce lead times, increase productivity, and enhance efficiency. 

Quality Control:-     

• Ensure all plants meet quality standards and production goals as per demand of the buyers.

• Address any quality issues and coordinate with production managers for timely resolution.

Reporting & Data Analytics:-

• Use ERP to input and analyze data on production timelines, bottlenecks, and delays.

• Generate analytical reports to assess production performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Analyze data for continuous improvement and share insights with management and offer stakeholders.
