Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise and lead the surveillance team, ensuring that all members adhere to established monitoring protocols.
Develop staff schedules to guarantee uninterrupted coverage of all critical areas.
Oversee the real-time monitoring of activities across all premises to detect security threats or breaches.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for surveillance operations.
Manage the retrieval, review, and analysis of surveillance footage for incident investigations.
Collaborate with the security team to respond to emergencies and provide detailed reports to management or law enforcement agencies.
Ensure all surveillance equipment (CCTV cameras, servers) is operational and well-maintained.
Collaborate with IT and vendors for system upgrades, expansions, and repairs.
Ensure surveillance activities comply with privacy laws, organizational policies, and industry standards.
Conduct regular compliance audits and address any identified gaps or issues.
Maintain detailed records of all surveillance activities, equipment maintenance, and system updates.
Plan and manage the budget for surveillance operations, including equipment procurement and maintenance costs.
Regularly assess surveillance coverage and recommend improvements or additional installations.
