Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Welcome and greet guests professionally.
∎ Guide guests to their tables and present menus.Recommend menu items, specials, and wine pairings.
∎ Take orders (sometimes from VIP tables or large parties).
∎ Ensure food and drinks are served correctly and promptly.
∎ Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and diplomatically.
∎ Supervise and coordinate servers and bus staff in the section.
∎ Allocate tables and assign waiters to sections.
∎ Ensure staff follows service standards and etiquette.
∎ Train new waiters/waitresses and assist in ongoing training.
∎ Check food presentation and quality before it reaches the guest.
∎ Ensure table settings, cleanliness, and ambiance meet restaurant standards.
∎ Monitor the pace of service and adjust as needed.
