Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in relevant disciplines, social sciences, development studies, with emphasis on climate change/disaster risk management/reduction or associated fields.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh announces for the following posts under Service Contract modality with the Local Government Initiatives on Climate change (LOGIC).
∎ The duration of the service contract is one year initially, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 3 years proven experience in capacity building, preferable with international organizations;
∎ In depth understanding of climate change effects in Bangladesh.
∎ Ability to deliver strategic insight and analysis on communications and media strategies relevant to development sector; and a solid record of managing complex and challenging partnerships with governments and international partners.
∎ Strong training & facilitation skills.
∎ Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team;
∎ Proven track record of producing policy briefs and advocacy materials and communication products.
∎ Experience in the usage of computers and relevant office software packages;
