∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for total business process including marketing and merchandising
∎ Ensure collection of order from buyer directly.
∎ Skill in costing, marketing planning, and having technical knowledge of products.
∎ Should have links with foreign reputed buyers and buying house have the ability to get export orders.
∎ Determine appropriate price quotations to ensure sales orders and maintain maximum profitability.
∎ To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attraction.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology. Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ To follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer
∎ Should be a visionary Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team handling multiple accounts and variety of products in knit / woven garments business.
