∎ With a diverse multinational team of around 50 members spreads across Norway, Bangladesh, and Myanmar, it works collaboratively to drive innovation in e-learning.
∎ Position Overview: Zabai is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and private sector partners. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in pitching Zabai`s products and services, creating compelling proposals, and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various INGOs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Business Development: Identify, target, and pitch Zabai's education technology solutions to potential INGOs and private sector organizations. Develop and implement effective strategies to generate new business leads and opportunities.
∎ Proposal Development: Create comprehensive and persuasive proposals tailored to the needs of INGOs and private sector clients. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and craft compelling proposals that showcase Zabai's value proposition.
∎ Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within INGOs and private sector. Keep abreast of industry trends, client needs, and market demands to adapt strategies accordingly.
∎ Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion. Utilize market insights to develop targeted approaches and stay ahead of the competition.
∎ Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients. Close deals effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
∎ Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Zabai, including sales & marketing, production and tech team to deliver seamless experiences for clients and drive business growth.
∎ Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales progress, and market feedback. Present findings to the leadership team and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
∎ Key Organizational Relationships
∎ Reports to the Country Manager, Zabai Bangladesh
∎ Collaborates closely with Project Managers, Designers, and other operational staff
∎ Liaises regularly with Zabai's business development team from other countries

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles within the education technology industry.
∎ Strong understanding of the INGO and private sector landscape in Bangladesh, with a focus on education and technology sectors.
∎ Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to create persuasive proposals and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
∎ Exhibits adaptability and a welcoming attitude towards change, adept at managing intricate situations while upholding the mission and goals of the company consistently.
∎ Demonstrates clear and methodical proactive thinking, showcasing sound judgment, adept problem-solving abilities, and a flair for creativity.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Self-motivated to work with minimum supervision, structured, goal oriented, and has willingness to learn and receive feedback.
∎ Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend relevant events.
∎ Must be fluent in Bangla and English communication skills (verbal and written)
