With the purpose of breaking the 0.4% insurance penetration barrier in Bangladesh, we built the first-ever `insurance-as-a-service` platform in Bangladesh capable of meeting the rapidly evolving needs of today`s Gen Z. From ecommerce portals selling a multitude of products to travel sites selling air tickets and tour plans, and MFIs selling small-ticket loans, everyone is a part of the ecosystem for Instasure. We thus enables large insurance companies to reach out to ecosystem partners at zero marginal cost using its proprietary embedded insurance API suite. It allows the insurance companies to help assess the risk better, streamline partner and customer interaction, enhance claim settlement as well as make transactions smooth.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Business Development Manager will identify, contact and develop relationships with distribution partners like travel agents, E commerce portals, logistics companies, ride sharing startups, banks and financial institutions, NGOs, Universities, Hospitals and other affinity groups. This position is responsible for the achievement of revenue targets by expanding these channels and maintaining profit margins, presenting products to guests, and maintaining extensive knowledge of all available and possible eco system partners.
∎ Manage existing relationships with key accounts.
∎ Develop a self working strategy to achieve the sales targets for the company.
∎ Manage the creation of sales presentations, marketing materials, emails, newsletters and trade shows.
∎ Attend trade shows, organize and staff these shows.
∎ Analyze sales reports for key trends and provide weekly sales updates on activities and opportunities.
∎ Designing and implementing strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
∎ Preparing sales budget and projections based on channel specific (retail/brand, wholesale, institute /Universities) and SKU wise monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
∎ Analyzing market trends and competitor’s activities and formulating strategies to respond accordingly.
∎ Coordinating with internal, external stakeholder and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of product & services.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Demonstrated successful sales history in the past.
∎ An understanding of the sales process, including commission structures, marketing plans, incentives, overrides and group sales.
∎ Personal social contacts with different industry leaders.
