∎ Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from ICAB, Business Graduate from IBA, DU/BBA (Accounting/Finance) DU, BBA, NSU/BBA, BRAC University.
∎ Field Knowledge: It is very necessary to have required knowledge of handling monetary matters, financial analysis and the related sector.
∎ Knowledge on International Accounting Standards: S/he should have the ability to focus on analysis, financial accounting, cost accounting or budgeting
∎ Other Skills: The other required skills in a candidate are that the candidate should have ERP exposure and required excellent Microsoft Word, Power Point Presentation and Excel skills.
∎ The person should be able to put attention to detail and a keen eye upon work.

Job Context:
∎ Business Controller supposed to regulate and supervise the business finance functions/department of the company such as define business sales/revenue process, controlling and regulating the finance of the company. S/he has to organize the business finance offerings and create the goals of the company pertaining to matters of finance. The job needs a lot of experience and hard work as well.
∎ The Person will closely work with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Care, Finance, other Group business wings lead & teammates and directly reporting to CEO.
∎ About SEBL Group: SEBL is a prominent Bangladeshi Conglomerate specially focused on Import, Export, Distribution, Retail Chain, E-commerce, Digital Marketing Agency, Manufacturing, Real Estate & Development, Constructions & Renewable Energy Business. SEBL is the National Distributor of World’s 3rd largest smartphone brand XIAOMI. Currently it has 12 business wings running with over 1000 people working across the country.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Business Controller has to perform a vital job and here are the basic duties and responsibilities which business controller generally has to fulfill.
∎ Ensure Revenue Recognition, Compliance and Business Process in line with international accounting standards, country laws and regulations;
∎ Closely work with MD, CEO, CFO and Senior Management team to establish the financial goal and objectives of the company and will try to achieve that.
∎ S/he is responsible for managing the business finance department as well as budgeting, financial reporting, monitoring, performance evaluation, decision support and etc.
∎ S/he has to prepare and maintain the financial reports for stockholders or for the business clients.
∎ The duty also includes preparing business case, feasibility study for new or current projects, periodic review, evaluation, cost savings and control initiatives, etc.
∎ S/he has the duty to fix the budget or the amount being spent whenever there are new business advancements in line with the newly constructed offices.
∎ S/he will design product or service pricing, commission models, channel margin, distribution costs, ROI, etc.
∎ It will be very necessary to manage the budget limits and amount when there is a dire need of making huge investments in the form of equipments and other resources.
∎ Any other tasks assign by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 7-8 years’ work experience as a Business Analyst/Business Controller Role or similar role in MNCs or Large Corporate.
∎ Good Communication, Reporting Writing, Presentation and Leadership Skills.
∎ Honest, Dedicated, Good team player, able to work under pressure.
