Educational Requirements:
∎ S/he must have at least a Masters in social science, development studies or similar related discipline from any recognized university with at least one 1st Class/Division.

Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Land Rights Network (BLRN) is a platform of national and local CSOs to secure land rights for poor landless, marginalized communities including indigenous peoples and minorities through social inclusion. BLRN is looking for a Facilitator to implement the operational activities and strategies of BLRN.
∎ The job will be regularized initially for a period of nine months.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ There is a number of duties that need to be performed in order to enhance the BLRN process. Some pertain to general management and coordination of the activities, others to communication and network facilitation. Major responsibilities are as follows:
∎ Support the governance of BLRN Platform and facilitate compliance with international benchmarks;
∎ Overseeing and coordinating the institutional life of the platform including through the organization of and reporting on platform and other BLRN-related meetings;
∎ Facilitating civil society members' dialogue with governmental institutions and private sector where possible;
∎ Establishing new strategic alliances with potential partners from civil society, intergovernmental organizations, government and public institutions and international financial partners;
∎ Facilitating the formulation of the annual BLRN framework and yearly action plan timely, including organizing face to face meetings with all involved members;
∎ Ensuring adequate quarterly reporting on BLRN activities to Steering Committee, implementing partners and donors;
∎ Taking care of administrative duties, including management of financial agreements, and ensuring that all members have access to relevant administrative information;
∎ Supporting and coordinating fundraising efforts by BLRN steering committee (SC) members, including liaising with potential donors and drafting of proposals;

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7 years plus experience with skill in writing reports in Standard English, developing training curriculum with a package of instruments, good in conduction/facilitating training, seminar, workshop, meetings in English as well as Bangla.
∎ The candidate should also have good skill in spoken English, committed to human rights, gender sensitive and respectful to cultural diversity of different communities living in Bangladesh.
∎ Should have ability to lead and conduct workshop/trainings independently.
∎ Should have ability to represent the organization at different fora national/international.
∎ Knowledge and experience in land rights movement will be considered a plus point.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated salary package for the position will be around Tk. 75,000 per month.
