Responsibilities & Context:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Design and architect private blockchain networks tailored to enterprise requirements
- Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms (Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Quorum, etc.)
- Develop consensus mechanisms and governance models for private networks
- Create technical specifications and system architecture documentation
- Development & Implementation
- Build and deploy smart contracts and chaincode for private blockchain platforms
- Implement identity and access management systems for permissioned networks
- Develop APIs and integration layers for blockchain network connectivity
- Configure and optimize network performance, scalability, and security parameters
Security & Compliance
- Implement robust security frameworks including encryption, digital signatures, and key management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of blockchain infrastructure
- Design privacy-preserving mechanisms and confidential transactions
- Operations & Maintenance
- Monitor network performance, transaction throughput, and system health
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
