Responsibilities & Context:

• Ensure all bar areas and bar refrigerator are always clean and tidy ensure all bar beverages are well stock before business operation start; if not, report to the manager on duty

• Ensure bar counter are clean and re-set according to pre-determined standards have full knowledge of all menus being offered in the restaurant.

• Have full knowledge of restaurant seating/ table plan to be able to make menu suggestions to customers

• To be able to build up a good rapport with all customers take food and beverages orders from customers

• Deliver food and beverages according to sequence of order

• Ensure all utensils, glasses, china and flatware are always clean

• Ensure table are clean and re-set according to pre-determined standards

• Always keep work stations clear, clean and tidy

• Report all customer comments to the supervisor / manager immediately

• Hand in all loss and found items without delay

• Ensure mise-en-place is always done according to service training

• Actively participate in all training activities

• Ensure full co-operation with all other service colleagues and departments

• Be aware of performing salesmanship at all times to help increase revenues

• Perform any other duties as required by the manager or supervisor from time to time

• To be able to use Point Soft system in the restaurant
