Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
∎ Take and prepare customer orders with attention to detail and consistency.
∎ Educate customers about our coffee offerings and assist with their selections.
∎ Brew coffee using various methods .
∎ Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks.
∎ Ensure beverages are prepared to company standards regarding taste, presentation, and temperature.
∎ Keep the coffee preparation area, equipment, and serving areas clean and sanitized.
∎ Monitor and restock coffee supplies, condiments, and other items as needed.
∎ Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
∎ Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Communicate effectively with team members and management.
∎ Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
∎ Recommend additional items, such as pastries or seasonal specials, to enhance the customer experience.
∎ Participate in promotions and upselling initiatives to drive sales.
∎ As a Barista at [Espresso House], you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional coffee experience to our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your friendly and customer-focused approach will contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets our coffee house apart.
