Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designed strategies to enable organization to achieve all annual goals.
∎ Prepared weekly reports and forecasted potential sales.
∎ Discussing sales contract details with the sales director and the head chef.
∎ Participated in various trade shows and conventions and developed a client base to promote sales.
∎ Supervised effective working of all banquet events and managed scheduled meetings and banquets.
∎ Managed bookings, confirmation and prepared various contracts.
∎ Coordinated with various departments and ensured proper coordination of events.
∎ Maintained a database of contacts for various bookings.
∎ Assisted other departments in drafting sales budgets.
∎ Planning the venue layout according to the number of guests and the type of event.
∎ Determining the number of table waiters and servers required.
∎ Consulting with the Head Chef regarding the timing of meal courses to be served.
∎ Preparing work schedules and completing documentation in a timely manner.
∎ Answering customers' questions and accommodating special requests
Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in hospitality and culinary arts preferred.
∎ Excellent selling capabilities (go-getter attitude) with the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to Team Members.
∎ Excellent organizational and planning skills.
∎ Experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
∎ Excellent grooming standards.
∎ Knowledge of local market & should have some key accounts.
∎ Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives.
∎ Exceptional ability to plan banquets, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
∎ Experience in supervising banquet venue staff.
∎ Ability to collaborate with Sales Directors and Head Chefs.
∎ Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
∎ In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
