Responsibilities & Context:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant and banquet operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor dining and event areas for cleanliness, ambiance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food and beverage services meet hotel standards and customer expectations.

Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant and banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and event staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary actions when necessary.

Guest Service:

  • Ensure guests receive high-quality service and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collect guest feedback and work on continuous improvement in service delivery also look at online platforms.

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Coordinate with the sales and events team to plan and execute banquets, weddings, corporate events, and special functions.
  • Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events.
  • Ensure event requirements are met in accordance with contracts and client expectations.

Financial & Inventory Management:

  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory and coordinate with purchasing for restocking.
  • Analyze sales and service trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all F&B service areas.
  • Ensure that all operational policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
