• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Previous experience working on Field Sales Force Automation (SFA), Distributor Management System (DMS), or similar sales & distribution software.

• Understanding of sales processes, route planning, geo-location tracking, and sales reporting.

• Strong in PHP (OOP) with hands-on experience in Laravel Framework (Laravel 8+)

• Solid understanding of MySQL (database design, query optimization)

• Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON

• Comfortable with Linux-based server environments (Nginx/Apache, basic security)

• Familiar with Git for version control

• Experience with caching/queues (Redis, Laravel Queue/Horizon)

• Basic knowledge of frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React )

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / DigitalOcean / Linode) and deployment (Docker)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for our Field Sales Management Software.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications used by field sales teams.

• Develop and maintain features related to sales tracking, order management, distributor/dealer management, attendance, location tracking, and performance reporting.

• Write clean, well-documented and efficient PHP code using the Laravel framework.

• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, queries and ensure high performance.

• Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, SMS, mapping services, etc.) as required.

• Manage server-side configurations, deployments and ensure smooth server management (Linux, Nginx/Apache, etc.).

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve backend-related issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Mobile App Developers and UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Ensure application security, data integrity and scalability as the user base grows.

• Write unit tests and maintain code quality standards.
