Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation in any discipline preferably commerce/business background with excellent academic record from reputed universities and no third division/class or equivalent CGPA in academic career. Candidates having additional qualifications like CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct risk based audit in accordance with the regulatory guidelines and bank's internal policy guidelines.
∎ Check & verify the books & records of Branches in order to determine the perfection.
∎ Examine the records & transactions of different modules of Core banking Software such as GB, Credit, Foreign Trade, Treasury, GL etc. to determine the accuracy.
∎ Constant follow-up on the issues/resolutions of audit findings.
∎ Identify the strengths/weaknesses of Branches & Head Office Divisions/Departments and put recommendation for improvements.
∎ Identify the lapses/irregularities & risk exposures in banking operations and to suggest the remedial measures for correction & mitigation
∎ Maintain effective liaison with Bangladesh Bank, other Regulatory Authorities and External Auditors etc.
∎ Any other responsibility as & when assigned by the competent authority of the bank from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 8 years banking experience with at least 2 years work experience in audit & inspection in a reputed commercial bank. May be relaxed for deserving candidates.
∎ Hands on experience in GB, Credit, Foreign Trade, AML & CFT, Audit & Inspection, Monitoring, Compliances.
∎ Sound knowledge & understanding on Companies Act, Bank Companies Act, BASEL Accords, Policy Guidelines/Circulars of Bangladesh Bank & other regulatory authorities, System Audit (Risk based), Money market, Capital Market etc.
∎ Adequate branch banking experience.
∎ Thorough understanding of all sorts of banking transaction processes and banking products.
∎ Clear understanding of associated risks in banking operations/transactions & its mitigation.
∎ Excellent inter-personal, communication & presentation skills with strong analytical & report writing ability and leadership quality.
∎ Strong IT knowledge and good command over Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point.
∎ Able to travel extensively across the country for audit & inspection purpose
∎ Ability to work under pressure and very good people dealings with positive attitude.
